When the catheter is in the appropriate location, radiofrequency energy is targeted at the vein and the catheter is then taken out. The radiofrequency energy warms up your vein, forcing it to fold and eventually closing the vein itself.

After the Endovenous closure in New Jersey treatment, a bandage will be put over the treatment site, and supplementary compression is added in order for the area to stay clean. You will be instructed to walk and go back to your regular activities.
