Following laser spider vein therapy you will be able to drive yourself home, resume your regular activities and you will even be encouraged to walk. You will need to wear support hosiery or compression wraps to protect the treated vessels.    Following your laser spider vein therapy, you shouldn’t take any aspirin, ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medications for at least 48 hours. Tylenol can be used if you are experiencing any discomfort.   You also shouldn’t take hot baths or sit in a whirlpool or sauna, or use hot compresses or any form of heat to the treated areas for 48 hours following therapy.  You need to avoid direct exposure to sunlight, sun bathing and tanning beds, jogging, high-impact aerobics and swimming for 1-2 weeks after you laser spider vein therapy.
